18 Stories Holiday Card
This holiday card was created for a promotional/branding company who wanted to send out a friendly greeting to their customers for the holiday season, but also wanted it to be more than just a flat generic design. I designed this holiday card with the idea of “Bright Ideas & Warm Wishes” in mind to help promote the idea that this company can help their clients to generate good ideas for promotional items, in a friendly and approachable manner with their fun team. Keeping with their brand, I kept the colors, design and typography slightly kitschy and vintage but with a simple yet fun layout. The snowflakes made out of light bulbs ties in the holiday season, but also plays on the “Bright Ideas” theme and the Merry and Bright message on the inside.

Motorola Solutions – Warehouse Use Case Storyboard Illustration
With the instruction of the Creative Director, I illustrated these storyboards to develop an animated video that explains how Motorola Solutions can help a warehouse increase accuracy and productivity. This particular animation included a voice over to walk the viewer through the animation. Final Illustrations were then provided to an animator for video production.

Behindthechair.com T-Shirts
These t-shirt designs were created for the salon community website, behindthechair.com. All designs needed to be placed on black t-shirts since that is the standard required shirt color in most salons, and each design needed to incorporate an idea that relates to the salon industry whether it’s cutting, color or styling.
Salon T-Shirt Designs
I aimed to take everyday tools that stylists use, like shears or color brushes, and make fun, edgy, conceptual designs that could fit a variety of personalities. I wanted to create designs that ignited stylists’ pride of their profession and would give them renewed excitement to go to work when they put on a shirt that was beautifully made with them in mind.
I created many popular t-shirt designs for behindthechair.com, but these are my favorites.
Some of these designs were also applied to hoodies, messenger bags, cups and buttons.

Tangled Up Salon Postcard
This illustration, that I developed and drew by hand, was created for a series of appointment reminder cards for salons to send to their clients. The drawing uses an illustrative play on words to show the multiple reasons why someone may be too ‘Tangled Up’ to remember to book a salon appointment for themselves.
The ‘Tangled Up’ design became so popular that it made its way onto stationary, mugs, T-shirts, messenger bags, notebooks, and more.

CSBarks Dog Festival
Carol Stream Park District (CSParks) decided to have a new and innovative dog event for their 2010 activity schedule and needed a fun look to really grab attention.
I created a small print ad to be included into their bi-annual activity catalog. There were no images available, since this is the premier event, so it opened a lot of opportunities to be creative with vector images and drawings. Even to the point of manipulating a found font to fit the theme.
I also design the framework for the supporting website for CSBarks, which I then gave to their in-house programmer to put together to their specifications.
